Part musical, part documentary, all glam-camp fever dream, Untitled JVB Project is a magical-realist concert, and concert film, starring legendary performance icon Justin Vivian Bond. Mx Bond’s first solo, feature-length performance film, Untitled will create and capture much more than a live show, featuring an immersive cabaret, and set in a dream-like fairy grotto outside under the stars.

Staged as an epic, all-night garden party taking place over an enchanted midsummer night’s eve, Untitled follows Bond and their guests on and off stage, across the majestic grounds of Montgomery Place along the Hudson River. A lush, cinematic event, Untitled will finally commit to screen the essence of the enigmatic, transgressive, and transcendent Mx Bond.

Through song and storytelling, with a setlist centered on climate, Untitled takes us on a unique and urgent odyssey with Bond as our guide. Bond will celebrate and commune with the essential power of art and nature, both of which are fighting to survive in today’s despairing environment. An exorcism, a dream, a party, a prayer: Untitled is, like Mx Bond, one wild ride. An experiential and fitting tribute to a vital artist with a vital voice for our time.
