Stars in the Dark

Directed by disabled filmmaker Brian Weidling, Stars in the Dark is a feature documentary, currently in post-production, that follows America’s only all-blind theater company as they stage the US premiere of The Braille Legacy – an uplifting musical about Louis Braille, who at fifteen, invented a language that opened the world for the visually impaired. The diverse cast comes from underserved communities across Los Angeles. Their stories are the heartbeat of this film.
