We are excited to announce Alejandro Alonso Estrella as our artist in residence this week. His work meditates on the ideological constructs of nationhood, homeland and access. Through experimentation with form and visual language he trifles with territorial limitations to reflect on alternative Cuban futures and reimagine the past.

In her work with archives, Mila researches the intersection of personal and national memories, always seeking to reactivate forgotten histories, through forms ranging from lecture performances and video art to analytical essays.

We are excited to announce Sasha Litvintseva and Beny Wagner as our artists in residence this week. Working collaboratively since 2017, their films, texts and lectures focus on the moving image as a tool for the active production of new worlds. Their practice has been driven by questions about the thresholds between the body and its surroundings, knowledge regimes and power, modes of organizing and perceiving the natural world.
