New York-based artist LeVeque explores the cultural implications of technological change through video. Backwards Birth of a Nation is a 15 re-editing of Griffith's film into a black and white phantasm; in 2 Spellbound Hitchcock's thriller becomes a 7 and half minute dance video; Hitchcock's 128 minute masterpiece is condensed in 4 Vertigo at the rate of one frame every two seconds which is then duplicated four times.
